During Ben’s time in charity and sport development, he has worked closely with over 30 corporate partners including Hargreaves Lansdown, Santander, Ernst & Young, Lloyds Development Capital, Nando's and Barclays (amongst others) in the design and development of corporate volunteering, pro-bono giving and fundraising opportunities that help to activate your corporate-community strategy.
Whether working toward or demonstrating BCorp status, improving your Corporate Social Responsibility, wanting to develop and activate an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, Ben has extensive knowledge of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector and how corporate partners can help local organisations support disadvantaged groups. His work was recognised on a national scale with the Sport & Recreation Alliance, Creative Partnerships Awards

Volunteering
Supporting carefully selected charities in the delivery of their charitable aims and objectives in strategically important communities.
Direct volunteering will demonstrate a genuine and authentic commitment to your local community. It will enable your staff to feel the direct impact of face to face engagement and better understand the duality of giving.
Examples include mentoring selected young people; assisting literacy support or the delivery of numeracy and personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) programmes.

Pro-Bono Giving
Business development pro-bono giving is often over-looked in the design of commercial – charity partnerships. First sector business development expertise can help charities improve operational efficiencies and scale up their activities.
By strategically providing first sector business development expertise and/or resource,
pro-bono giving can improve operational efficiencies and develop business functions to assist charities to sustain, develop and grow.

Fundraising
To complement direct volunteer hours and pro-bono giving, the design of fundraising activities and events can help to develop your internal teams and connect members of staff who may not otherwise regularly interact.
Sport and physical activity based fundraising events will improve the physical and mental health of your staff and act as fun and informal networking events that improve connectivity with like-minded commercial partners.
